Attribution Guidelines

We want the valuable judgment of the PhishTank community to mean something, so we're asking that you be courteous when using the name, logo, and brand.

PhishTank likes to share its data — it's 100% free to use. In return, we urge you to credit PhishTank with text, graphic, or both and provide an obvious link back to http://www.phishtank.com.

An application should not attribute data to PhishTank unless it is using fresh data, where fresh means updated at least daily from PhishTank. API usage, of course, is real-time.

Logo Usage

We encourage you to use a PhishTank logo in your application. The logo must be displayed on a white or blue (#167ab2) background.

PhishTank should always be spelled with a capital T.

The PhishTank tagline "Out of the Net, into the Tank" should not be used separately from the logo or sitename.
